Advantage Database and Embarcadero Delphi
Advantage solutions for Embarcadero Delphi provide seamless, native integration into the Delphi IDE, allowing replacement of existing TDataSet components with Advantage VCL components. Delphi developers can fully experience the power of Advantage Database without giving up any of the powerful functionality provided by the Delphi VCL.

Advantage TDataSet Descendant
The Advantage TDataSet Descendant is a programming tool developed specifically to eliminate the need for the BDE (Borland Database Engine) and dbExpress for database access. Using the Advantage TDataSet Descendant, developers can program as they always have using standard TTable, TQuery, TDatabase and TStoredProc methods and properties.

Advantage Data Access Components for Delphi 2006 and Greater
For developers using Delphi 2007 or greater, the Advantage Data Components (ADC) for Delphi are a complete set of VCL components that provide native data access to the Advantage Database Server and the Advantage Local Server in WIN32, Win64 and .NET applications. ADC provides seamless integration directly into the Delphi IDE making it the recommended data access method to the Advantage Database. Most importantly, developers converting from older, Win32 versions of Delphi using the Advantage TDataSet Descendant can use the Advantage TDataSet Descendant for .NET included in ADC, to convert to .NET with hardly any changes to their database code. View the Detailed Supported Platforms document for a complete list of supported Delphi versions.
